Australia-US Free Trade Agreement

On January 1st 2005 the Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA) came into effect. The AUSFTA is a landmark agreement that creates significant import opportunities for Australian products to the USA (and US products to Australia) through reduction of tariffs, increase of specific quotas and easing of market restrictions.

Austrade in the US invites interested distributors, agents, or representatives of Australian products/services to contact the nearest Austrade office to discuss the potential for new partnerships and business opportunities with Australian exporters.
