How do I apply for an Australian visa?

Comprehensive information on Australian immigration and visa matters is available at the Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs. Application forms and information booklets may be downloaded from this site. Also, you may wish to contact with one of the many overseas offices that can support you with your application, or you may wish to apply online.

Can Austrade help us export our goods and services to Australia?

The Australian Trade Commission is the trade and investment development agency of the Australian Government. Our role or Austrade is to assist Australian companies export goods and services to overseas markets. We also assist both inward and outward investment between Australia and other countries.

Austrade is not involved in the facilitation of overseas exports to Australia. We recommend that you contact the trade support organisation in your country. Refer to our list of contacts for more information.

Can Austrade assist us make investments in Australian real estate?

Can we use our driving licences while we are on holiday in Australia?

An overseas visitor may drive in Australia if they hold a valid overseas drivers licence and providing they are licensed for the class of vehicle they will be driving. If the drivers licence is not in the English language then a translation must be carried along with the permit. For further information either may visit the relevant State Road and Transport Authority on arrival.
