Growing foreign investment

Over the five years to June 2007 the stock of foreign direct investment in Australia increased by 155% to US$279 billion. There was a 29% increase in 2006-07.[1]
Over the decade to 2006, Australia was the fifth largest net recipient of FDI in the OECD.[2]
