How Austrade can help in the Philippines

  • Eva Yazon, Senior Business Development Manager 
  • Dan Williams, Trade Commissioner - Dan looks after the agrifood and consumer sectors is involved in dealings with the Asian Development Bank. He also oversees other major projects undertaken by the commission.
  • Marichu Suarez, Senior Business Development Manager - Marichu looks after the minerals industry, and energy/power/water projects.

Philippines Board of Investment
The Board of Investment (BOI) is the Philippine Government agency responsible for encouraging investment into the Philippines. The BOI has been promoting investment through the provision of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to both local and foreign investors. In recent years, the government has put great emphasis on the use of BOI privileges to achieve policy targets related to export activities and the decentralisation of industry into regional areas.

The BOI encourages investment by providing a wide range of services including the provision of investment information, investment opportunity surveys, and the identification of potential joint-venture partners.
