Visiting Australia
The Australian Tourist Commission provides information and advice for Taiwanese travelling to Australia.
All goods entering Australia are subject to customs duty, however, a general duty-free allowance is available to travellers. The Australian Customs Service (ACS) administers the regulations and can answer specific questions on these matters.
Australia has strict quarantine regulations. Travellers must declare items of plant or animal origin when entering Australia. Please check before you travel about which items cannot be taken to Australia. Detailed and up-to-date information is provided on the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service website.
