How Austrade can help in Mexico

Austrade in Mexico City maintains a full service office to help Mexican, Central American and Caribbean enterprises, either in the private or public sector, to source goods and services from Australia.

Our team comprises people with many years of experience across a range of industry sectors, including:

  • agriculture
  • food and beverage
  • mining and energy
  • infrastructure
  • transportation
  • services and biotechnology and much more

Our office has a sound record of Australian references, from large manufacturing and mining companies to very small service and consulting companies. We work on a confidential basis to help minimise the risk of doing business overseas and pride ourselves on being part of a team that minimises the time of getting connected with Australia.

We can help demonstrate to you the quality, reliability and technology available in goods or services from Australia and help put you in contact with companies capable of meeting your needs.

We regularly assist local companies source products and services. Everything from tanks and steel to education franchises, food and wine products and the latest ICT software to make your business more competitive.

Make us part of your team and leverage off of our excellent Australian network.

Getting to Austrade's office

The two-story embassy is on the corner of Ruben dario and Campos elisios, with Chapultepec Park alongside. From the airport, if you do not have arranged transport, it is strongly advised you take an authorised taxi (yellow with airplane logos) to our office. Ticket booths are located inside the terminal and a typical fare to the primary commercial sector (reforma/polanco) should cost approx US$15-20. The taxi should proceed west/north west along either the viaducto or circuito interior.

If you are planning a visit to the office, ask for our Mexico city business pocket guide to be sent to you.
