The aim of the Consular office is to protect and safeguard the interests of Australian citizens and/or residents in Italy within the limits imposed by the laws of the receiving State.

Consular assistance and advice is provided in relation to: hospitalisations, arrests, welfare and whereabouts, marriage in Italy enquiries, deaths, child abduction cases, Australian Federal and State elections, certification of documents, passports, disasters and emergencies.

The Milan Consulate does not issue visas of any kind for Australia.
